One night in Bangkok...

Well, it has actually been 3 so far, but that damn song has been stuck in my head, i have been driving Lee nuts...

We arrived late on Thursday night, was stinking hot, and let me tell you, British Airlines only have the reputation of being great because thats what they tell you. It wasnt all that it was cracked up to be, but we did make it here in one piece, and with luggage, so it wasnt all that bad.
Terrible on-flight movies though, haha!

Bangkok is well, busy, and hot. And dad, you were right, but we will talk about that later.....

We have eaten curry every day, the food is amazing, so that makes up for the sweat dripping down our necks and backs. This place is chaotic, but very interesting at the same time.

We met with our tour group last night, we leave tonight at 5.30pm for an overnight train down to Khao Sok national park. Two nights in jungle huts, and predicted rain. Me thinks there will be nothing but relaxing going on, some girls in our group from london were complaining that there is no sun, but I think the less we have to do the better, we have never been more relaxed in our lives!

Everything appears cheap but you do tend to become stingy. I mean, you get used to the currency, therefore you know when people are ripping you off, even though back home its like... one dollar or something.

Sometimes we feel like arseholes, there are just people around trying to make a living, and you cant really do anything for them, nor can you speak their language.

One thing is for sure, it rocks to be Aussie!

We will probably not be able to update again until we are in Samui, so until then, look after yourselves and be good!
